Vice President of Sales

As Vice President of Sales, Mark Lindstrom has led St. Paul-based ergodyne’s team to a number of key business successes. With decades of experience, his industry expertise and passion for great work have helped ergodyne become a leading provider of gear and accessories for worker safety, comfort and productivity. 

Lindstrom joined the ergodyne team in 1998. He is responsible for the strategic direction of the sales division, developing and implementing programs that ensure customer needs are met. Directly involved in all aspects of product sales, Lindstrom spends much of his time on the road, meeting with customers and getting first-hand feedback on ergodyne’s products. He also guides the company’s market focus and constantly strives to meet its ongoing commitment to produce the highest quality gear and equipment.

Lindstrom has used his expertise to accomplish a number of key objectives for the company. He expanded ergodyne’s distribution base by more than 150 percent to its current network of more than 600 distributors in the U.S., Canada and Europe. He also played a critical role in implementing a successful consolidation strategy for the company, while simultaneously building and strengthening Ergodyne’s sales team.

Prior to his work at ergodyne, Lindstrom served as director of sales for Pittsburgh-based Draeger Safety, a manufacturer of gas detection and respiratory equipment. At Draeger, he designed and led a distribution strategy that reversed the company’s annualized losses from $6 million to $1.5 million in just twelve months, and increased profit margins by nearly eight percent. He also managed personnel across a broad spectrum of the company, including supervisors in customer service and operations and more than a dozen field sales professionals.

Lindstrom is a graduate of Boston University, where he earned a degree in education and kenesiotherapy. He is active in industry organizations and serves as a committee member of the Industrial Supply Association.

Originally from Weymouth, Massachusetts, Lindstrom lives in St. Paul, Minnesota.
