Thomas Votel - President and Chief Executive Officer

Thomas Votel became St. Paul-based ergodyne’s President and CEO in 1985 - just two years after becoming the company’s first full-time employee. Votel quickly demonstrated his industry savvy by leading the business to 100 percent annual growth for six consecutive years. As a result, ergodyne has twice been ranked on Inc’s list of the 500 Fastest Growing Small Companies in the U.S., and Votel was named Ernst & Young/Inc. magazine’s Entrepreneur of the Year in 1992.

 

Today, ergodyne is a leading purveyor of specialty products that provide protection, regulate temperature, enhance productivity for workers and the company’s products are sold through a network of 800 distributors throughout the world . As ergodyne’s chief strategist, Votel is responsible for plotting the vision and direction of the company. Leon Hoffmann, Vice President, Finance & Operations

As Vice President of Finance and Operations, Leon Hoffmann brings more than 30 years of experience to ergodyne. His expertise in business finance and operation strategies has helped ergodyne become a leading provider of gear and accessories for worker safety, comfort and productivity. 

 

Hoffmann joined ergodyne in 1992 and directs finance, human resources, information services, distribution and manufacturing activities for the company. His primary responsibility is to oversee and streamline operations to increase service levels through effective cost control and higher quality products.   More...

  

 

Mark Lindstrom, Vice President of Sales

As Vice President of Sales, Mark Lindstrom has led St. Paul-based ergodyne’s team to a number of key business successes. With decades of experience, his industry expertise and passion for great work have helped ergodyne become a leading provider of gear and accessories for worker safety, comfort and productivity.

 

Lindstrom joined the ergodyne team in 1998. He is responsible for the strategic direction of the sales division, developing and implementing programs that ensure customer needs are met. Directly involved in all aspects of product sales, Lindstrom spends much of his time on the road, meeting with customers and getting first-hand feedback on ergodyne’s products. He also guides the company’s market focus and constantly strives to meet its ongoing commitment to produce the highest quality gear and equipment.   More...
