COMPANY TENACIOUSTESTER: BRYAN BLOTT

TENACIOUS TESTERS

Tenacious Tester Profile: Bryan Blott

Bryan Blott is a Network Technician in California

What does your job entail on a day-to-day basis?

As a rural cellular carrier, our technicians wear many hats. You might see us working in the C.O. on large power plants, the next day erecting a tower, voyaging to a broken site in the snow cat, or installing a new microwave path. As a direct result of this, our gear gets exposed to may different kinds of wear and tear.

How long have you been doing it?

Five Years

How long have you been doing it?

Keeping tools attached to me instead of implanted on my ground crew can be rough. I have tried many different okie-rigged systems to try to keep things attached and yet useable while I am on a tower with varying degrees of success. Weather can also be a challenge.

Do you mainly need products that provide protection, regulate temperature, or enhance productivity?

All three. I was first drawn to your tool lanyards and tool pouches.

What recent job/project/task are you most proud of accomplishing?

We recently installed some 8' directional antennas on a 15' standoff, 150' off the ground.

On that job, how did your Tenacious Work Gear from Ergodyne help you stay safe, regulate temp, or enhance your productivity?

It hasn't yet! I just found your company online. I'll get back to you after I buy some gear.

What do you like to do when you’re not working?

Rock climbing, I have 15 years of experience. I also do a lot of 4x4 expedition camping.

In your life, what keeps you tenacious?

A desire to leave behind a legacy of productivity and completed work.
