ERGODYNE ANNOUNCES SAFETY INDUSTRY GOLF TOURNAMENT
St. Paul, Minn. (June 21, 2011) – Ergodyne today announced its fourteenth annual 65 Roses Golf Classic: A Tenacious Tournament event at the premier Legends Golf Club in Prior Lake, Minnesota on Monday, July 18, 2011. This year, the event, which raises money for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, will bring together leading safety manufacturers, including 3M Protective Apparel & Footwear Market Center, Sqwincher, Gojo Industries, Inc., Brady Worldwide, Inc., Bradley Corp., Capital Safety, and Accuform Signs – as well as many other generous industrial and safety reps, distributors, and end users.
The 65 Roses Golf Classic: A Tenacious Tournament has a history of successes, including a cumulative fundraising total of over $2 million dollars in the past 13 years. Known for its top-rated golf course, professionally connected golfers, and extraordinary cause, the 65 Roses Golf Classic provides an opportunity to connect with friends, clients, and existing and potential customers.
“Recently, the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation announced the successful completion of Phase 3 clinical trials on a revolutionary drug that actually corrects the basic gene defect of CF,” said Tom Votel, president and CEO of Ergodyne. “It’s because of the generosity of the safety community, friends, and family that this monumental progress is possible. There is still work to do, and we are excited to get together on July 18, 2011 to see this new drug and other critical developments continue their course.”
Cystic Fibrosis is an inherited chronic disease that affects the lungs and digestive system of about 30,000 children and adults in the United States (70,000 worldwide). Nearly 90 cents of every dollar raised at events like 65 Roses Golf Classic: A Tenacious Tournament goes to benefit the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
