Customer Support Manager

JOB SUMMARY

Reporting to the VP of Sales, the Customer Support Manager will lead the Customer Support team to continually improve effectiveness, productivity, and quality. This person will hire, train and coach effective customer support team members to meet sales and corporate goals while remaining actively involved with customers and the outside sales team to ensure appropriate communication and efficiency are achieved.

YOU HAVE ALREADY ACCOMPLISHED (REQUIRED):

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business
  • 5+ years' experience working with CRM systems
  • 5+ years' experience working within a Customer Support phone queue
  • 5+ years Manufacturing Environment
  • Superior knowledge of Office Systems (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)

YOU MAY HAVE ALREADY ACCOMPLISHED (PREFERRED):

  • Inside Sales/Selling Experience
  • Experience coaching and training customer support teams

  • Assist Customer Support and Accounts Receivable with customer payment issues
  • Monitor and assist Customer Support and Accounts Payable on customer co-ops, rebates, additional marketing dollars and pricing deviations
  • Assist VP of sales with communication and coordination of sales planning meetings and initiatives
  • Assist Regional Sales Managers and Directors requesting training and information as needed
