Online Content Intern

JOB SUMMARY

Reporting to the Associate VP of Strategic Accounts, the Online Content Intern will primarily assist the National Accounts Team in conducting online content audits to improve product page listings with Grainger, Fastenal and other Omni-channel partners. The duties for this person will be to review product images, enhanced content, videos, and product description to ensure accurate content use and engagement. This is a temporary position beginning February 2019 and ending December 2019. 10-20 hours per week preferred during school year, and 40 hours per week during the Summer.

YOU HAVE ALREADY ACCOMPLISHED (REQUIRED):

  • High School Diploma
  • Experience using Microsoft Office Systems (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)

YOU ARE WORKING TO ACCOMPLISH (PREFERRED):

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or a business-related field
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills through email and phone

ADDENDUM:

  • Develops an understanding of Ergodyne National Account ecommerce presence and learns to download reports and make product page content updates
    • Reviews product pages for a variety of National Account distributors to ensure updates were accurately completed
    • Measures sales trajectory month to month as a result of content improvement
  • Works with Product Management and Marketing Teams in collecting and organizing new content
  • Works with Omni-channel distributor partners focused on auditing and improving online content for existing and new products

Additionally, the intern will be responsible for arranging and covering cost of living arrangements in the Twin Cities. The intern will also need to provide at minimum one reference that is able to speak to his/her ability to effectively communicate within a group environment.
