New ProFlex® Gloves

St. Paul, Minn. (January 29, 2009) – Ergodyne today announced the redesign of its ProFlex® glove line for all professional workers, tradespeople, and applications. All 30 ProFlex® models will be affected by the redesign, which refreshes the look, creates brand cohesion with shared colors and features, and includes feature upgrades on some Handler and Trades series models.

“After seven years of adding new models to our ProFlex® line, it was time to step back and bring some aesthetic consistency to our gloves to create a more uniform, ‘family’ look,” said Tom Votel, president and CEO of Ergodyne. “What hasn’t changed in the ProFlex® line are the killer features and benefits our customers have come to expect from Ergodyne.”

The high-quality materials, superior fit, and features and benefits will remain unchanged with the new redesign. ProFlex® gloves will still use three-layer padded spandex and top-of-the-line synthetic leathers. Many models will feature durable TPR-molded hook & loop closures and pull tabs for easy on/off. New features on the Handler and Trades series models will include additional flex zones for increased comfort, a terry thumb brow wipe, increased
wear patch coverage and low-profile closures.

Ergodyne’s ProFlex® glove line is organized by series. These include the VR (Vibration Reducing) Series of ANSI-certified gloves for protection against harmful vibration; the Trades Series, meant for wide use on highly dexterous applications; the Handler Series for material handling and general duty; the Temp Series for cold weather work; the Hi-Vis Series for enhanced worker visibility; and the Fire & Rescue Series for extreme applications.
