The towel is made of modacrylic knit, which is inherently flame-resistant and will not melt or drip. It complies with NFPA 70E CAT 1 standards with an ATPV rating of 5.8 cal/cm². The cooling towel offers moisture-wicking capabilities. It can be used wet for cooling or dry to draw sweat away from the skin. To activate the cooling technology, run or submerge the towel under water for one minute. The towel is lightweight and soft to the touch, made from modacrylic fabric for all-day comfort.
