The chin strap secures the helmet in place upon falling or sudden impact. Replacement parts are available. Open Frame Design: The breathable open frame design improves airflow, enhancing comfort during long wear. Padded Comfort Included: The helmet includes a removable brushed polyester sweatband and top pad, which are breathable and odor-resistant. Replacement pads are sold separately. Both are machine washable. Easy Adjustment: One-handed LockFit™ ratchet features 36 points of adjustment for a customizable fit. You pull the ratchet out, twist to adjust, and push in to lock. The suspension pivots up and down to clear bandanas and ponytails. Designed to Accessorize: Built-in mounts accept Ergodyne accessories including lights, clips, and earmuffs.
