Reduce Sprains and Strains with Proflex Elbow Sleeves

Sprains and strains continue to be the number 1 cause of lost time in the US workplace every year. Costing billions of dollars in lost productivity and workers compensation. Sprains and strains are widely associated with back injuries but are also a risk to other parts of the body. One that may not be obvious is the elbow. Repetitive motion issues can affect the tendons and muscles of your forearm and elbow and result is painful conditions like Lateral and Medial Epicondylitis, commonly referred to as tennis or golfers elbow.

An Ergodyne elbow wrap or sleeve, also known as a counter-force support, applies pressure across the irritated area to help reduce and alleviate discomfort.

When choosing an elbow wrap or sleeve solution, the following factors should be taken into consideration. The type of discomfort you are experiencing. How much support is needed. The job function you are preforming. And of course, comfort and personal preference.

The ProFlex 500 Neoprene Elbow Wrap with Strap simply slips on and should be positioned just below the elbow, approximately one thumb below where soreness is located. Pull and attach the strap so it fits snuggly, taking care not to over-tighten to the point of causing numbness, tingling, or discoloration in hands or fingertips.

For support of the entire elbow, slip on the ProFlex 650 Sleeve or 655 Sleeve with Strap. Both feature breathable perforated neoprene in a pre-curved design for maximum comfort. To properly wear the 650 or 655 elbow sleeve, align the spandex mesh with the elbow crease to help create tendon and elbow discomfort relief.

Model 655 features a strap around the upper forearm. Attach the strap to desired tension for added compression of the affected area.

With a combination of a counter-force support and a conscience effort, workers can take of elbow joint discomfort, and muscle it right out of the way.
