How to Assemble a SHAX Portable Work Shelter | Heat Stress

To assemble a pop-up tent for the first time: Unzip the bag and stand the bag upright. Pull the bag off the tent frame and pull the frame apart halfway. Take the canopy out of the wheeled storage bag and spread it over the frame. Ensure the top center of the canopy is directly over the center post.

The four corners attach via hook & loop. Fasten the canopy to the frame using these hook & loop areas. Pull the frame outward and fully extend the frame. Slide up the securing mechanism on each frame leg until they snap into place. The mechanism on the model 6000 uses an ABS plastic slider, which simply needs to be turned to release and move. The model 6010 uses a pull-pin slider, which you simply pull to release and move. Both sliders automatically snap into place once they are locked.

To secure the cover, attach U-clips to each side of the frame for the model 6000. For the model 6010 wrap the hook & loop straps around the frame to secure the canopy. Step on the footpad and pull up each frame leg until the spring pin snaps into place. You can choose your desired height. Stake to the ground and anchor with weights. Detachable sidewalls are also available for both models. To attach, simply find the steel hole in each corner. Using the steel hook, put it into the hole at the top and at the bottom. Then attach the sides to the tent legs with three hook & loops. The sidewall can be easily moved with the direction of the sun. Our line of SHAX Portable Work Shelters also offers an armchair seating option, model 6060, which will keep workers off the ground and off their feet, as well as tent weight bags to provide up to 40 additional pounds per weight for additional security. Once your job is complete, simply reverse these instructions to take down the tent. The storage bag on both models is oversized, so you will not need to take off the canopy when storing the tent.
