  1. Open the hydration pack and fill the bladder with clean, potable water up to the recommended fill line.
  2. Close the fill port securely to prevent leaks and ensure a tight seal.
  3. Route the drinking tube through the pack opening and position the bite valve or hand pump connection where it is easy to access.
  4. Adjust the shoulder straps for a secure and comfortable fit so the pack sits stable during movement.
  5. Use the bite valve or connected hand pump to drink water as needed throughout the day, keeping hydration consistent during work.
  6. Periodically check the system during use to ensure the tube is clear and water is flowing properly.
  7. Refill the bladder as needed during breaks, ensuring the system is closed and secure before returning to work.
  8. After use, empty any remaining water and prepare the system for cleaning and proper drying to maintain performance and hygiene.

How to Clean the Chill-Its 5160 Hydration Pack Kit:

  4. Use the long flexible tube brush to clean the drinking tube, pushing it through fully to remove any buildup and ensure smooth flow.
  5. Use the small brush to clean the mouthpiece and valve area, removing any debris or residue from tight spaces.
  6. Rinse all components thoroughly with clean water to flush out any remaining soap or loosened particles.
  7. Insert the expandable drying frame through the fill port, then expand it inside the bladder to allow full airflow and drying.
  8. Hang the system using the drying frame and allow all components to air dry completely before reassembly and storage.
