The GloWear 8390X X-Back Hi-Vis Winter Jacket with AmpliFIRE Heat Reflective Lining is designed with a polyester outer shell + PU coating for water- and wind-resistant protection from the elements, plus 180g thermal insulation for comfortable no-bulk warmth.
The jacket features an AmpliFIRE™ heat reflective lining that uses aluminum insulation to capture body heat. The X-back design is intended to make it instantly clear whether someone is moving forward or backward, enhancing safety and awareness in dynamic environments.
POCKETS & ACCESSORIES
This work jacket features 2 external front pockets, 1 insulated tablet pocket, 1 upper chest cell phone pocket and 2 mic tabs for convenient access and storage. The bottom of the jacket also features two D-rings for clipping keys, glove clips or other small accessories. An Ergodyne badge on the left sleeve leaves the back open for logo customization.
COMPLIANT TO ANSI/ISEA 107-2020 and CSA Z96:22
This reflective coat features 2” reflective stripes compliant to ANSI/ISEA 107-2020 Type R, Class 3 and CSA Z96:22 Class 2 Level 2, for nighttime visibility. This safety high-visibility jacket features more fluorescent background material and retroreflective material than other classes to ensure maximum visibility and safety in all conditions.
CLO RATINGS
Insulation performance is measured by CLO ratings—which is a unit of thermal resistance that indicates insulating ability. The higher the CLO value, the higher the amount of warmth a piece of clothing provides.
To determine temperature ratings, CLO factors, Metabolic Equivalent of Task (MET) and the time or duration of a task are considered. MET levels are categorized into 3 groups:
- “Low” range (0-3 MET) // forklift driver, equipment operator
- “Moderate” range (3-6 MET) // picking & packaging, delivery drivers
- “Vigorous” range (>6 MET) // concrete work, tower climber
