Designed with 300D oxford polyester outer shell and PU coating, this jacket provides warmth without restricting movement and dexterity. Additional 160g quilted insulation offers comfortable warmth while ensuring the jacket stays breathable, preventing overheating and moisture accumulation during physically demanding work.

This insulated work jacket features two lower exterior oversized pockets for convenient access and storage. A zippered closure and ribbed knit cuffs help seal out cold air.

CLO RATINGS

Insulation performance is measured by CLO ratings—which is a unit of thermal resistance that indicates insulating ability. The higher the CLO value, the higher the amount of warmth a piece of clothing provides.

To determine temperature ratings, CLO factors, Metabolic Equivalent of Task (MET) and the time or duration of a task are considered. MET levels are categorized into 3 groups:

• “Low” range (0-3 MET) // forklift driver, equipment operator
• “Moderate” range (3-6 MET) // picking & packaging, delivery drivers
• “Vigorous” range (>6 MET) // concrete work, tower climber

Some warehouses and facilities are more manual in nature, leading to higher MET levels, while others rely on automation, resulting in lower MET levels. N-Ferno 6461 Insulated Freezer Jacket has a CLO rating of 2.05 and is rated for moderate work at -35°F // -37°C for up to 1 hour and -2°F // -19°C for up to 8 hours, and for light work at -2°F // -19°C for up to 1 hour and 28°F // -2°C for up to 8 hours.
