N-Ferno 6462 Insulated Freezer Bib Overalls are built for warm, durable and comfortable everyday performance in cold storage freezer environments with the essential protection workers need.

Designed with 300D oxford polyester outer shell and PU coating, these low bib overalls provide warmth without restricting movement and dexterity. Additional 160g quilted insulation offers comfortable warmth without extra bulk.

These work bibs have two oversized side pockets for easy access when wearing gloves. A snap closure on each leg makes it easy to pull on and take off without removing work boots, and the low bib design allows for increased mobility while bending and moving on the job. Adjustable suspender straps prevent slipping and add adjustability, while an elastic waist band with a zipper and snap closure offers a comfortable and secure fit.

CLO RATINGS

Insulation performance is measured by CLO ratings—which is a unit of thermal resistance that indicates insulating ability. The higher the CLO value, the higher the amount of warmth a piece of clothing provides.

To determine temperature ratings, CLO factors, Metabolic Equivalent of Task (MET) and the time or duration of a task are considered. MET levels are categorized into 3 groups:

• “Low” range (0-3 MET) // forklift driver, equipment operator
• “Moderate” range (3-6 MET) // picking & packaging, delivery drivers
• “Vigorous” range (>6 MET) // concrete work, tower climber

Some warehouses and facilities are more manual in nature, leading to higher MET levels, while others rely on automation, resulting in lower MET levels. N-Ferno 6462 Insulated Freezer Bib Overalls have a CLO rating of 2.05 and is rated for moderate work at -35°F // -37°C for up to 1 hour and -2°F // -19°C for up to 8 hours, and for light work at -2°F // -19°C for up to 1 hour and 28°F // -2°C for up to 8 hours.
