Skullerz SIXTEN-AFASPC Photochromic Safety Glasses - Anti-Scratch & Enhanced Anti-Fog Lens combine classic styling with a full field of vision, featuring integrated side shields that mimic the visual light transmission of the lenses to preserve peripheral vision. These protective safety glasses feature polycarbonate lenses to protect against impacts and filter 99.9 percent of harmful UVA, UVB and UVC rays.

Designed for comfort, the glasses include a contoured nose bridge that won’t slip or pinch and soft temple pads for a secure and comfortable fit.

Photochromic LENS TECHNOLOGIES

Photochromic lenses automatically darken in sunlight and return to clear indoors as UV levels change. Light-sensitive molecules react to UV exposure to help reduce glare and minimize strain, eliminating the need to switch between clear safety glasses and sunglasses. These lenses feature category 0-2 performance with a visible light transmission (VLT) range of 84-23%, delivering reliable visibility in changing light conditions. The tan frame and side shields have a VLT of 64%.

Transition times include:

• Clear to Dark: Lenses shift from 84-48% VLT within 10 seconds, fully darkening to 23% in 1 minute
• Dark to Clear: Lenses return from 23-67% VLT in 3 minutes

These impact-resistant safety glasses are tested to both the ANSI/ISEA Z87.1-2020 and the ISO 16321 standards for High-Velocity Impact Protection and optical requirements. ANSI/ISEA Z87.1-2020 is the US standard for Personal Eye and Face Protection Devices and is listed on the frame (Marks: Z87+ X), while ISO 16321 is the European standard for occupational eye and face protection.

A hard case bag is included to store the glasses when not in use. The glasses are also compatible with the Ergodyne Skullerz elastic retainer strap (sold separately), offering added security during active tasks.
