ANSI/ISEA 105-2016 LEVEL A2 CUT RESISTANCE, LEVEL 6 ABRASION RESISTANCE & LEVEL 4 PUNCTURE RESISTANCE

These thermal safety gloves are tested to ANSI/ISEA 105-2016 level A2 cut resistance, level 6 abrasion resistance and level 4 puncture resistance for dependable protection when working around sharp materials and rough surfaces. The combination of cut, abrasion and puncture protection makes them well suited for demanding jobs where hand safety is essential.

CLO RATINGS

Insulation performance is measured by CLO ratings—which is a unit of thermal resistance that indicates insulating ability. The higher the CLO value, the higher the amount of warmth a piece of clothing provides.

To determine temperature ratings, CLO factors, Metabolic Equivalent of Task (MET) and the time or duration of a task are considered. MET levels are categorized into 3 groups:

• “Low” range (0-3 MET) // forklift driver, equipment operator
• “Moderate” range (3-6 MET) // picking & packaging, delivery drivers
• “Vigorous” range (>6 MET) // concrete work, tower climber

Some warehouses and facilities are more manual in nature, leading to higher MET levels, while others rely on automation, resulting in lower MET levels. ProFlex 851WP Thermal Insulated Impact-Resistant Gloves have a CLO rating of 1.6.
